I can see reservation holder conversion to orders dropping like flies.

When Ford opened the F150 Lightning BEV reservations, about 60% of reservation holders converted to real orders when production started.
Some of those F150 buyers that converted merely bought it for flipping them for profit.

That means with another delay, Scout reservation holders will be far less converting to actual orders because other brands will beat them to market.

This is NOT good news for Scout, especially at the $60K price point.

I'm now looking at getting the Ford UEV mid sized truck BEV at $30K.

Definitely disappointing but not totally unexpected. I've been leaning towards the full electric lately and that will probably be even a year later than the Harvester. :(

I wonder if it has anything to do with changing battery technology. I am not a fan of Rivian, the R2 looks interesting as an all electric option. Ford, if they can price point it correctly and reign in the stealerships, they may have a chance to dominate the sector. Relegating Scout to a minor player. Ram is a non-starter. Stellantis is in the worse financial trouble of all the auto makers.

This is concerning, but not unexpected. A REV is what I am buying next, but am not looking for the Stellantis experience. Ford announced the next Lightning will be a REV, so I may have to look there, if Scout doesn’t come through.

I saw that but minimal isn't what old people should settle for we've sacrificed all our lives for the good of others it's now our time to splurge for we're getting closer to our last car purchase every day.

And anyone who thinks Chinese cars are national security risk. You need to do a sweep of your home. Remove TVs Alexa Google home smart appliances it's amazing what people believe. I guess like we all thought we be riding in Scouts in 2027 and buying them directly from manufacturer. Well that's like saying we have a great guy in the whitehouse some believe it but most can't wait for the series to be finished. So soon we can all be posting what we're driving. But not a good day for scout forum members

ICE ICE BABY...like I said drop in a LS ,maybe a Coyote and off we go...seriously I am going for the new 6.7L from GMC when it comes out ,probably this summer will buy the Escalade or the Yukon Denali and wait and see what happens with the Scout....cant wait forever for them to make up their minds, was a little skeptical when they would not let ya sit in the car because they only had a few prototypes,if thats the case makes more so future customers can get the feel for the truck....ow well we move onnnn. :Lets Go Scout!!!....I'll have to settle for my 1978 rest mod SSII
