You won't see a full size hybrid bronco till end of 2027 only reason I stated they have an electric version in China is to me if they are already building an electric version in China I'm sure it could be also done in the states regardless there will be many options

This is Fords marketing problem. What you're seeing in China is a Bronco in name only. They did Bronco and Bronco Sport in the US which confused the crap out of everybody, now they have a "Bronco" in China too.

Bronco is a body on frame, solid rear axle, transfer case w/low range, available front and rear locking differentials, etc. Everything else is Bronco in name only.

It's like what they did with Mustang, they really need some new marketing people!

Well ford has an opportunity to make a splash before Scout does I guess we will see if it's hybrid or Erev by the end of 2026 I would think Ford would be letting the cat out of the bag. Their battery plant is moving forward and I think it makes sense to eventually make a Bronco EV especially if battery technology evolves

Well this development by BYD could change the EV/EREV discussion:

IF accurate (true) most of the day to day EV use barriers disappear. I guess the current reduced rate of charging facility installations could actually help by allowing quicker widespread adaptation to even higher capacity super charging stations.

Hate to use Chinese technology BUT we keep doing this to ourselves. Will be pretty hard to “protect” American vehicle manufacturers who do not quickly adapt to this battery technology. Oh yeah, we do build great V8 engines (which I do still love).

PS Scout: could you keep the current 13% of BEV order holders at the top of the BEV build list?
