I can see reservation holder conversion to orders dropping like flies.

When Ford opened the F150 Lightning BEV reservations, about 60% of reservation holders converted to real orders when production started.
Some of those F150 buyers that converted merely bought it for flipping them for profit.

That means with another delay, Scout reservation holders will be far less converting to actual orders because other brands will beat them to market.

This is NOT good news for Scout, especially at the $60K price point.

I'm now looking at getting the Ford UEV mid sized truck BEV at $30K.

Definitely disappointing but not totally unexpected. I've been leaning towards the full electric lately and that will probably be even a year later than the Harvester. :(

I wonder if it has anything to do with changing battery technology. I am not a fan of Rivian, the R2 looks interesting as an all electric option. Ford, if they can price point it correctly and reign in the stealerships, they may have a chance to dominate the sector. Relegating Scout to a minor player. Ram is a non-starter. Stellantis is in the worse financial trouble of all the auto makers.
