So if you're Farley you bringing this to the us market ahead of your competition especially after you just wrote off a boatload of losses ??
I'd rather see him bring this here (it would BURY Grand Cherokee sales and take a HUGE bite out of 4-Runner as well):

They're careening towards me pulling my deposit. First the announcement that they'll be focusing on the gas burners at start of production. Now an extra year. Multiple competitors are going to beat them to market with reasonably priced BEV trucks at this point and I'm going to need a new vehicle before mid 2029. I like the Terra the most out of the options I've seen but it feels like it's rapidly heading for vaporware. Getting real Star Citizen vibes.

I'm pulling my deposit now. I don't like them already calling delays (there will be others) and the focus on the EREV over the original BEV mission. I sold my '24 Sequoia for a used R1T 2 weeks ago.

It's nice to have options especially when time is not your friend. Safe motoring. But to me this all spells VW dealers will be selling Scout's and the delays will take the enthusiasm away. But for the cost of 4 happy meals at Mc Donald's I leave my 100 bucks ride two years from now I get a email from Scott Keogh standing by his retro scout saying it's time to order your cutting edge SUV. And by then I'll get interested again.

No offense, but whoever thought this was all going to be "on time" was/is delusional lol.
And has anything actually been confirmed by Scout themselves?

These people obviously didn’t order a Bronco, LOL.
Lol maybe that's why we were indifferent.
But even my experience with the Bronco wasn't so bad.
I think I ordered with dealer in December of '21. Confirmed Feb '22. Originally scheduled for production late September - and then got pushed back 3 times. Picked it up December '22.
So 1 year. Which at the time, I think was pretty good considering other people who had a day one reservation were still waiting...

I think a good sign will be when you drive by your neighborhood VW dealership and see expansions going on in anticipation of the new Scouts Arrival. Will tell the tale. When I get back from Florida i will take the GM from my neighborhood VW dealership golfing and see what his assumptions are. And of course share his insights with you. But i think that's where we will be buying these gremlins
