That would be nice but unfortunately the Scout competition is Rivian, Tesla and the Silverado EV, $$$$$.

A lot of chatter about the Fathom over on the Blue Oval board. Looks like it'll be on the smaller size, and even the largest battery pack is rumored to get just above 300 miles of EPA range. The Slate's short range is a non-starter for me. It's fun to see some more truck options coming online.

Ford promises "more interior room than a Toyota RAV 4" and the last time I saw a new RAV 4 it wasn't exactly a small vehicle. 250+ miles of range, NACS charging, AWD, lots of tech and phone-as-key, for $30k? This is going to make a $70k Jeep Recon, Rivian R2, Scout Traveler, etc. a really tough sell.... especially if Ford does a Tremor trim level of this new truck.
