I would be okay with getting a Scout serviced at Audi or VW if I could still buy it online. There are multiple dealers within 50 miles of me. The Scout service/lifestyle centers probably won't be near me until year 2 or 3 of sales.
It's the direct to consumer part that's the issue. All those other brands have their own dealerships and sales people. Dealers want to keep being the middleman. If Scout built traditional car dealerships this wouldn't be an issue.

I've never seen Scout say 350 miles on battery for the Harvester . It's always been a smaller battery with a range of around 150 miles and Harvester providing the rest.
