I'm sure VW group has plenty of 4 cylinder engines they can use. I don't see them out sourcing outside of VW group.

Interesting video. I’m getting more excited as time approaches but my biggest hope is they create a vehicle contemporary for when it’s actually released and not for now or when they first announced. Technology is changing quickly and this vehicle will be a big investment for me that I hope to utilize for years to come. The best technology for the moment it’s released will ensure Scout is looking for relevancy for the present and future customers.

Yes but haven’t they had less than stellar results from some of those engines? Plus, they are streamlining their lineup for cost efficiency. I don’t disagree with the video when they mention that engineering and testing costs for a “new” brand are yet another hurdle. It could make perfect sense to outsource an engine meant entirely to power an electric motor vs the ICE motors that power a vehicle.

I really hate AI generated content. The cadence in the voice is so unnatural. Horse would be a cool source for the harvester however.
