Wasn't the point. Point is with 70K price point you better be closer to 300 miles of range. That 230miles of range(Moab trim) will realistically be closer to 200.
For 70K you better have a great EV experience. And from all the reviews out there the Wagoneer S was not that great.
Scout is...
The Bolder looked very interesting from a design stand point, if they actually keep that design, i would really consider it. I just don't think the its going to make it as an EV though.
Nobody is going pay $70K for a 250 mile range and a less than impressive charging. An even worse Software in the infotainment system. I really wanted to like this Vehicle.
Until Jamie or Scott or anyone else From Scout Motors confirms it, I'm taking everything with a grain of salt.
On the other hand I could Lease an R2 for the next 2 years while I wait.
What a joke. 250mile on a 100kW that starts at $67K. WHAT ARE YOU DOING STELLANTIS! Legacy Auto wonders why THEIR demand for EV is non existent. When they keep coming up with shit. I was generally excited for this vehicle when the first announced it, but now jeez get bent Stellantis.
Has anyone heard where the Service Center Locations are going to be located? We know they are probably going to be major markets, Just not sure if anything Official has come out.
So the first picture(thanks to admin for blowing them up) caught my eye. Vehicle is charging at 24mi/h. Which would be a 7kW level 2 charger. Hopefully this isn't what the Scout Home charge will be. And this is either a third party or just a demo screen.
What do you all think?
the old one will probably be recycled and will recover valuable materials like lithium, cobalt, and nickel for reuse in new batteries. There are few different companies that do this.
As for the why, most likely the battery degradation is under 70% or so. but who knows
