Interesting to be sure. I am on the fence about pure EV vs Harvester, and the more complicated this gets, the more I am tempted to go EV only and just wait it out. Which in the Terra probably means 2030 or 2031.

Agreed. I’ve had two late model VW GTIs and the electronics are a mess. Great fun to drive—until the electronics crap out. Which they did on both my cars. Sigh.

Reserved back in October and just switched from Traveler with Harvester to Terra all electric. We just moved and a truck will be more practical. Sure hope they offer it in the original Traveler metallic auburn color, though.

The digital display on the Volkswagen GTI is amazing and has several options. I like that functionality as well. i have driven a car only a few times that had a heads up display, but I was not a fan of it. I found it more distracting than anything else and yearned for a way to turn it off.

I have a buddy whose client has a Rivian and drives a long washboard dirt road daily at his ranch here in southern Arizona. He said he’s had to replace multiple tires due to blowouts from the Rivian’s overall weight because of the battery. Curious if you’ve experienced this. Do off-road EVs...
