Nice to hear concrete specific rollout plans. Sounds like it could work well if they place the stores / service centers in strategic places, which I'm sure they will.
And I like that owners who live up to 200 miles from a store/service center will get mobile service. Hopefully, the breadth and...
Went searching for info on skid plate / underbody protection and here's the skids that were seen on the Scouts at the reveal event and this was posted by The Autopian --
"As for skid plating, a lot of what I saw under the vehicle looked like plastic aero covers. I could be wrong, of course, and...
Oops my bad you're right, all 3 power outlets are 120v on that Traveler. It's the Terra pickup truck bed that will have two 120v and one 240v power outlet. Haven't seen any photos / videos of those yet though...
This plus Harvester EREV setup ?? This is why the Scout EV has gotten the buzz that it’s gotten after reveal. Just hope they can deliver on the estimated prices ?
Prince would approve!
But so do I actually. Doubt something this loud will be offered as a factory paint color option but the aftermarket has got endless vinyl wrap choices
We don't know which VW engine will be used as the Harvester gas range extender yet, but I assume it will be a simpler and smaller engine.
I'm curious what maintenance we'll need to do on the Harvester -- will it be the typical oil change interval for that engine or something different.

Always interesting to see what vehicle people may be replacing. So what will you guys be replacing with the Scout EV? My Gladiator has mostly been trouble free but lately starting to throw some error codes and random stuff. So if my reserved Terra comes in around the estimated pricing, it'll be...
Glad to see you here @popo_patty. I'm not even a Bronco owner and I've seen some of the great stuff you've posted on the Bronco forum (full disclosure: I've been tire kicking a Bronco Raptor but will now hold out for the Scout EV Traveler SUV). Look forward to seeing you become a Scout owner...
My guess is your hope will come true. Concepts are almost always more tech-y and minimalist than the actual production versions which have to account for cost and practicability.
Hear, Hear from another Jeep guy! ?
There hasn't been another vehicle with this many boxes checked, pretty much ever (especially if we're talking about Harvester EREV model)
I posted this in the dimensions comparison thread but it also applies here...
Everyone seems freaked out by the 91.6" inch width figure released by Scout, but it may just be an error.
If we're to assume that the dimensions image released by Scout yesterday is accurate and to scale, then the...
Everyone seems freaked out by the 91.6" inch width figure released by Scout, but it may just be an error too.
If we are to assume that the dimensions image released by Scout yesterday is accurate and to scale, then the width must be wrong.
Someone else measured the height and width of the...
