  1. No 220V power outlet on the Scout Traveler?

Would be surprised if this isn't the same on both and they just didn’t mention it.
  2. Low range - is this a concern?

No details obviously so just speculation but I’d think these things would do better than a Rivian due to the live axle and locker. But as these vehicles will be heavy as $hit compared to your standard ICE off roader I’d think that’s the bigger issue.
  3. Autonomous Driving / Self-Driving on 2027 Scout EV?

I was a bit surprised they didn’t mention anything on autonomous driving. Part of me wishes its because they‘re not going down the endless monetezation path. But that also assumes VW gave them $5B out of the kindness of their hearts. They want a return and monetization gets them that. The more...
  4. Headlights need revision by the designers (resembles Hyundai Santa Fe)

Makes sense if you’re not into it because of the design. I’m actually looking to get out of my Rivian and was mulling over a Lightning. Not thrilled with the software on Ford’s side so have been hesistant. Hoping these Scout twins fit me a bit better.
  5. Rivian software

Are there known glitches in Rivian’s software? I have a fairly early build and in over 2 years I haven’t encountered any issues with the UX besides poor design choices.
  6. Apple Carplay / Android Auto for Scout Motors Traveler & Terra?

All comes down to Scout wanting to make “owning” software stack a revenue stream. With the Rivian deal I’m not even sure how it works, if the data goes back to Rivian or they share. Technically its absolutely possible, Lucid added Carplay, a vehicle at least 18 months away from full production...
  7. Vehicle Weight GVWR for 2027 Scout EV & Harvester EREV (Terra Pickup Truck & Traveler SUV)

This is all speculation but I don’t see how. The highest advertised range is 350 and the Silverado/Sierra/Hummer EV all get 350+ miles at 70 MPH. Unless Scout plans to offer a 220 kWh battery option, which is most of the 9kLB weight of the Ultium siblings, these vehicles will come lighter. R1T...
  8. Headlights need revision by the designers (resembles Hyundai Santa Fe)

Just curious, what were you expecting? I understand the front end is subjective and may not be everyone’s cup of tea. But from a tech perspective it has the basics of a platform launching in 2026-2027.
  9. 360 degree & topdown birds eye camera views

The software in the stills seems lifted almost entirely from Rivian. Understanding VWs partnership with them It’s fair to assume feature parity at the UX level. Unreal Engine can be skinned so while it ultimately could “look” different I’d be surprised if they go disabling basic features.
  10. Width -- 5" wider than Raptor? (Correction: 4.4" narrower than Raptor)

An error or just a placeholder since the team knows they have literally years to update the website with real values. No way they’re coming out with a 10k LB Hummer EV equivalent.
