Towing range seems to be the biggest issue that the Harvester engine will solve. Just wondering how it will maintain a steady SOC under a heavy tow load.
Because the majority of Americans are Trump supporters and when he tells them not to buy EVs because he’ll be removing charging stations, they’ll listen. He doesn’t like EVs, ergo MAGA’s won’t either.
The first step has been taken. The dismantling of government owned EV chargers and the sale of all government owned EVs.
Pretty sure you can guess what comes in the following years although I don’t know how he’s going to rip out the private charging networks.
As I’ve been feeling for a while...
I wondered about this in another forum a while ago. With the current administration's focus on drilling and fracking and gutting EPA standards, now's the time for manufacturers to switch back to gas guzzlers. Seems most Americans favour large bore gas or diesel engines based on news reports (who...
Updated my form to show I’ve reserved the BEV. Will wait a bit but I’ll probably cancel the Harvester version now they’ve confirmed the small battery size for that model. I don’t tow anything and hate the thought of going back to burning fossil fuels again.
Apologies, could not find the forum support area.
I’ve noticed an increasing amount of what I assume are deleted threads recently. Now, I can’t clear the alert for yet another deleted thread. Why so many lately? Here’s the message I’m seeing with increasing frequency:
Tesla isn't moving back to switches. With the lone exception of the turn signal stalk on the 2025 Model Y, Musk still wants to use the screen for pretty much everything. Betcha the 2026 Model Y loses the turn signal stalk. The 2025 Model 3 doesn't have it.

That reads like a press release. So the big news that they’ll be able to match Tesla? Honestly, that doesn’t seem like huge news. I did read the whole article and the use of more sustainable materials is good.
True. After our upcoming trip to the US, we’ll be suspending further travel. We’ll see if charging stations fall into disrepair and get vandalized by Trump supporters who want to accelerate the move back to oil and large gasoline engines.
