I’m wondering since Scout says that they’re going to be a brand and not a model if they’re gonna eventually come out with all different kinds of SUVs like this. I think it’s awesome. I hope they do. Lots of people with a bunch of kids would be very interested in a wagon I’m sure.
@Efthreeoh You COULDN’T just say, “ My bad. I’m sorry I’m very negative in every comment I leave in the forum. And I challenge everybody. I’ll stop doing that. Sorry about that.” You couldn’t just reply back and do that could you!!
Because you don’t want a hardtop Scout, because you...
We own a bronco with a hardtop, and have never had such problems at all. I understand it’s OK for you to hate on bronco, but I have to correct your statements about the quality comments that you’ve made in several places on this forum about hardtops. That’s just not true about the hardtop on the...
Hmmmmmm… Maybe that is a jeep thing. We drove our bronco with the removable hardtop 4500 miles this summer on our vacation. We went to several national parks in all kinds of weather and wind, and we never had any crosswind rain leaking into the cabin.
@Efthreeoh Perhaps scout will offer a smaller version. Ford does that with the bronco. They’ve got the full size one that I have that’s just like the old Bronco, but they also came out with the bronco sport that’s a lot smaller. It’s still very capable, but it’s smaller, cheaper to buy and has...
Well, I think in South Carolina 50,000 to 100,000 a year would be considered pretty good income. So that’s where you could start at the $50,000 and then work your way up to that $100,000 . I think high middle class income is considered $250,000 a year that’s a lot of money though. If they’re...
This will be my first EV. The 0 to 60 in 3 1/2 sec is a huge selling point for certain. I’m looking forward to feeling that torque! My reservation included the harvester. Since I go off road and up in the mountains and stuff, that’s a huge selling point for me. Can’t wait to see what vehicles...
LOL. Maybe that’s why I don’t like Chevys! Yeah, I hate Chevy. I don’t own Chevy. I would never buy a Chevy. (Sorry to all the Chevrolet lovers out there. ). I’m wondering if $3.20 an hour in Mexico is middle income?? It might very well be.
Yeah, I just don’t wanna feel guilty buying a Scout knowing the people that built it are not making a livable wage. Scout hasn’t come out with any announcements about any of this. It’s important to me.
Oh, I didn’t mention unions. I didn’t even think of unions. I’m just hoping that Scout pays more than minimum wage. I hope they pay livable wages so that people that work in the factory can be middle income.
Isn’t South Carolina a “right to work” state (so a “right to minimum wage” state)? That’s going to be sad because the people working in the factories building the Scout won’t be able to afford $60,000+ to buy one. I really hope Scout doesn’t plan on doing that. I hope these jobs at the factory...
