Update:
Some info just published today by a local network:

The vehicles will be on display outside the stadium’s Northwest Gate (Mitchell Gate) by the Lloyd Family Courtyard at the corner of Bluff...
I'd like to see Scout Motors incorporate a factory integrated trailer brake controller for both the Terra and Traveler -- offered up as an option for us owners who'll be towing. Anyone with me, or would you prefer going with aftermarket option (any advantage over factory ones)?
Caveats:
VW doesn't have any EV like the Scout, so maybe/hopefully it will be different and we'll get 1PD? ?
Scout may have its own engineers that decide differently for its own vehicles when it comes to 1PD vs 2PD? ?
Jeep managed to avoid common leak problems with their version of cabana top (Sky One Touch Power Top), so it can be done right. The biggest issue for owners who are sensitive to cabin noise is that soft tops in general are just louder. No way to avoid that; it's just physics.
Tow hitch on production Scout models has been confirmed by Jamie from Scout Motors:
"The concepts didn't have them, but the production vehicles will offer them. No word yet on location specifics."
Now where would yall like to see the tow hitch receiver located exactly?
Article published today on that exact theory and phenomenon:
Many car companies are moving away from Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Nowhere is this more obvious than in the EV truck world.

Adopting a traditional manufacturer's software makes no sense since it's not made for ground-up EV platforms. So that leaves only a few pure EV company's software for buying / licensing as an off-the-shelf solution -- Rivian, Tesla, Lucid.
Depends on when deliveries start in 2027. US manufacturers usually switch their model years to the next calendar year sometime in the summer or shortly after. So if Scout production starts in the latter parts of 2027, then the first Scouts delivered will likely be called a 2028 model year.

Totally different ordering system model for the Scout compared to Ford. Ford tried to digitize their ordering system by bringing as much of the process online as possible, but at end of the day they're still selling vehicles (EV or not) via Ford dealers. And you know how well that goes...
Update from Scout on construction of the production plant. Cool seeing where the different processes will take place -- Assembly, Paint Shop, Body Shop, Finish & Tech Center.
October 2024 Scout Motors Production Center Update...
Best idea ever! Don't limit service and repairs to only the Scout Stores / Service Centers that will take a while to build out for good nationwide coverage. Turn any potential neighborhood garage into a potential service center and you'd see flocks of people coming over from Rivian side, which...
I updated my post above with this:
Scout Motors has confirmed that the spare tire carrier on the Traveler SUV will be optional. is considering having the spare tire carrier be optional.
So it's not set in stone yet, but they're considering having it be optional. I bet this is soft speak for...
