Well considering Volkswagen Group confirmed that its Silao facility will manufacture a naturally aspirated 4-cylinder engine for Scout Motors.

I'm sure VW group has plenty of 4 cylinder engines they can use. I don't see them out sourcing outside of VW group.
  4. Another option while we wait??

Wasn't the point. Point is with 70K price point you better be closer to 300 miles of range. That 230miles of range(Moab trim) will realistically be closer to 200. For 70K you better have a great EV experience. And from all the reviews out there the Wagoneer S was not that great. Scout is...
  5. Another option while we wait??

The Bolder looked very interesting from a design stand point, if they actually keep that design, i would really consider it. I just don't think the its going to make it as an EV though.
  6. Another option while we wait??

Nobody is going pay $70K for a 250 mile range and a less than impressive charging. An even worse Software in the infotainment system. I really wanted to like this Vehicle.

  15. Scout has been quiet lately

the old one will probably be recycled and will recover valuable materials like lithium, cobalt, and nickel for reuse in new batteries. There are few different companies that do this. As for the why, most likely the battery degradation is under 70% or so. but who knows
  16. NACS Charge Port Location

Supposedly V4 superchargers will have pull through stalls for Semi. Also Ionna Chargers are also having pull through stalls.
