I'm not buying the sales experience, I'm buying the product.

Local & Early Reservation Holder Interested in Vehicle Product Testing

Did you post this on the Community Hub at scoutmotors.com? Also, I am not an early adopter, live in Washington state, and inevitably only fill out about 65% of any survey. However, I'd be happy to receive my order early and work with folks to put it through the paces.

New Traveler Sketches w/ new wheels style

I've thought about it...I'm hoping the top does go up high/far enough that I can stand under it and not get rained/snowed on, though.

    Grain of salt

Totally agree! Though it would be nice if I could clean my windshield without having to have the driver's window up.

    Scout delivery on tribal land

Theoretically a Tribe could enter into a business relationship with SM. They'd still be able to charge their own tax/fee for the transaction on the reservation. Many Tribes have gas stations...would love to see EV charging incorporated!

How close must a Scout Service Center location be to you? Poll

Sounds like we'll be opting for the mobile service option? ?

How close must a Scout Service Center location be to you? Poll

interesting. I was thinking just that...an hour, for someone in the city, can be a short distance, but someone in who live out the country can be a long distance. but, since the poll question is how far will you drive for service under warranty? I brought up the concept of distance vs time...

How close must a Scout Service Center location be to you? Poll

more interested in why the poll is time, not distance, based? especially since warranty is really mileage based. agreeing w/OlyScout (I live in the South Sound, too). 30 minutes south is about 45 miles. 30 minutes north is about 25 miles.

Scout Driver Assistance will be camera based system (no Radar or LIDAR)

subaru's eyesight tech was worked quite well for us when it comes to adaptive cruise control. I hate lane assist, actually, especially on black ice(!) let me drive the vehicle.. and I echo not needing so much tech, even though for longer trips I would welcome the ability to not think about the...

Scout Traveler & Terra: More Info & Closer Looks Published

I also don't know that I'd often be going 500 total miles w/out a stop. so even if I'm doing straight 150 miles EV, maybe harvesting another 50 - 150 mile, I'll need to stop somewhere if just for a rest stop/snack/stretch. for me that's where route planning comes in (whether I'm doing it or...

    Sound Design?

Super excited to be following the visual design stories and how intentional each Scout rep is in their presentations! However, I've been thinking about sound lately. Specifically the sound of the Scout when backing up/driving around, the inevitable air warping when I open a window too much/too...

Instrument Cluster Gauge Display -- Opinions, Requests, Wish List

Not sure driving this rig like you are on the autobahn in is part of the design story I keep hearing from Scout ;)

Scout Stores / Service Centers ("Scout Studios") plans revealed: 25 will open in 2027, expanding to 100 by 2032

With the consolidation of dealerships across the country, creating their own little monopolistic fiefdoms, I am more excited than ever to buy directly from Scout.

Instrument Cluster Gauge Display -- Opinions, Requests, Wish List

looks like they heard you, with the Detox mode. I'm hoping we can change font size...getting to the age where I need reading glasses, but don't want bifocals for driving.

Make the spare tire on the back of the Traveler optional.

I don't remember where I read it, but the Terra's supposed to be able to have the spare (<33") undercarriage and 35" in the bed (meh)...similar to the traveler...but good point, as it wasn't determined if harvester status would affect stowage.

Make the spare tire on the back of the Traveler optional.

You can have the 33" stored under the vehicle, I think?
