Actually, I sent my deposit in spite of the fact that VW is involved. I'm still not sure their reputation has recovered from the emissions cheating scandal. I wouldn't buy it if it were marketed as a true VW, but the hope that the cheating branch of the company won't need to get involved with an EV.
Completely agree. I absolutely love the idea of the EREV because it gives me freedom to drive. But if a solid state comes out in the near future and makes my expensive truck worth pennies, I’d be very upset. If I saw that battery solution on the horizon, I certainly wouldn’t purchase the Scout...
All of that assumes the vehicle is driving for that complete calculation. If the vehicle were sitting still (for example, camping or at a demo) for an extended period, it could get 0mpg/range. I think everyone is trying to make something out of nothing. Relax people and just enjoy the process...
I must be an oddball then. I had the digital mirror in my Denali and hated it. Your eyes focused out the front windshield have to change to near sighted when glancing to the digital mirror. I find this incredibly annoying.
I disagree. I think they will take a page from the Bronco playbook and make Harvester available at all trims just like Ford did with the Sasquatch package. The Harvester option will definitely be the single most requested option.
I have deposits for each model and want the Harvester on both. Such a great concept for an EV but I want more than 150 on batteries. At least make it close to 50/50 of the 500 miles on batteries.
