I agree, R2 is competitor. But more so the Bronco, and Jeep are an exact niche Scout is trying to enter. You are still putting gas into vehicle one way or the other. The electric capability of 100 miles daily is a very nice thing... but not sure it is worth thousands more over a more off road...
