    I'm hearing rumors from catl. They have made big breakthroughs in lithium metal batteries. A gas generator won't last the testament of time, which goes against the heart of international harvester. People wanted a long lasting tough farm truck.

    150 mile range... Probably less.. while others in 10 years might have 400+ range and cold weather resilient. The harvester could be dead weight you don't want. And the decision today to engineer it to be removable would increase sales.. why buy a brick ?

    I'm interested in the Harvester because I live where it gets -20°F. But recently discovered sodium batteries do fine in cold weather. So, I'm thinking the harvester might not be as valuable to me in 10 years.

    2004 4-cylinder 2.3 liter Ford Ranger. Duratek strait 4 cylinder. 30 mpg with 390,000 miles on her. 3rd fuel pump.. trying to get to my brand new Terra!
